Every contractor says they’re honest and on time. Here’s what you can actually verify about Ridgewood Construction — and how we’re built differently.
Design and construction on one contract
Most remodels involve a designer who draws, a contractor who prices, and a homeowner stuck between them when the numbers don’t match. We do both under one roof: the people who design your project are accountable for building it at the price we quoted.
Fixed-price quotes
The quote you sign is the price you pay. Scope changes only happen when you request them or when something genuinely unforeseeable turns up behind a wall — and either way, you approve the change in writing before work continues.
Vetted by cities, not just reviews
Ridgewood is a registered contractor for CDBG housing rehabilitation programs in eight DFW cities — Plano, Garland, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Lewisville, Grand Prairie, and Flower Mound. City programs check insurance, workmanship, and documentation before letting a contractor touch publicly funded work. Most residential remodelers never go through that vetting. The Texas licensing truth
Texas doesn’t license general residential contractors — so any remodeler claiming to be a “licensed GC” is marketing, not fact. What’s verifiable: we’re fully insured, we pull a permit on every job that needs one, and our work passes city inspections. Judge every contractor — including us — by that standard.
